Please join Rahla Xenopoulos, Paige Nick, Lauren Beukes, Justin Fox, Kathryn White, Peter Church, Jade Gibson, Joanne Hichens, Jacqui L'Ange, Sindiwe Magona and Mike Nicol for a festive book signing at Exclusive Books Cavendish Square from 5pm  to  7pm on Friday 11 November.

10% of all sales will go to the Cape Times Library in Every School Project.

Open Book Festival 2015

Open Book Cape Town at The Fugard Theatre is an annual literary festival, the first of which happened in 2011. This year the festival will host over 180 participants featuring authors, comics, poets and community organisers. 

The hubs for Open Book Cape Town  will be the Fugard Theatre and much-loved indie bookshop, The Book Lounge

Rahla will be a part of two panel discussions:

On the Edge

Perfect Hlongwane, Andrew Miller and Rahla Xenopoulos discuss how the pages of their novels are battlegrounds for survival. Chaired by Jackie May

In the Beginning

Justin Cartwright, Claire Robertson and Rahla Xenopoulos discuss the starting points for their new novels and where they went from there. Chaired by Ann Donald.
